The world has been broken by the wars of an ancient and forgotten past; all that remains is lost and without community. The terraformed jungle of the New Sahara is the last haven of Earth - could a new home for a conscientious humanity be found?
Verdancy is a journaling RPG made for solo or group play in which Explorers trek through a terraformed jungle in hopes of discovering the unique Fauna and Flora that inhabit it, finding a new home for humanity whilst searching for derelict terraformers that could avert an approaching storm of disastrous proportions.
Features:
-A simple D6-based game system for use whilst exploring the New Sahara, with 6 Prebuilt characters to go alongside it.
-6 different Regions to explore, from the sun-soaked Savannah to the waterlogged Tropical Jungle. Each Region has unique weather effects, scenes and features that can be encountered.
-A richly illustrated bestiary of 14 fauna and 15 flora adapted to survive in the terraformed jungle.

Totally unique and splendidly imaginative, Verdancy is a break out blue light fantasy gem of a game. Dynamic, and with a cleverly crafted take on a climate dystopia. I mean, of course you COULD download it for free, but it's absolutely worth the price of a coffee. Enjoy, and watch this space; I have a sneaking suspicion we might see more great titles from HearthValley!
